The Explosive Gun, modeled after many 'Blasters' found in various science fiction movies, is a highly powerful pistol using space-age polymers. Unlike regular handguns, it does not fire regular bullets. Instead, it serves as a launch platform for miniature missiles. Those explode a few dozen centimeters from their target, showering them and nearby opponents with shrapnel.
The Explosive Gun is the second pistol in the game to require the Rare Firearm Skill to use. It is the only pistol, and one of the very few weapons in the game overall, that is capable of delivering splash damage. It does 75% of its full damage to all enemies in radius 1 of the target.
In Judgment, the explosive gun are a rare Tier V Weapon that survivors can find and use in combat.
