Items are pieces of equipment that survivors can craft and carry in their inventory. There are several different kind of items, each with different uses and effects: food, weapons, armor, spells, and charms among others. Items can only be crafted in specialized locations using resources (see also Objects): for instance, a food table is needed to cook food.
